The ATC NSW Tilers Organisation (ATC NSW/TO) is the wall and floor tiling peak body that represents its tiling members by a conciliatory agreement with the Australian Tile Council NSW. With the purpose to raise and maintain the skill level for wall and floor tilers.
The executive members elected by the ATC NSW T/O, committee members develop and researches technical issues faced by the wall and floor tiling industry within NSW. The committee also provides direction and support to Standards Australia in the development of Wall floor tiling Standards.
The ATC NSW/TO also develops and conducts up front training for apprentices and new entrants as well as upskilling practicing wall and floor tilers.
The ATC NSW/TO Promotes excellence in tiling and annually host the competition for the Golden trowels awards & other industry awards for the best floor wall tiling works within NSW.
With the purpose to address the skill-shortage of tilers & recognise and encourage excellence among accredited wall and floor tiles & apprentices and in doing so recognising the importance to continually raise the skill level of those that are fully accredited or young people entering wall and floor tiling Industry of NSW.
This initiative enables the ATC NSW/TO too support the wall and floor tiling industry by providing technical information and advice to tilers and the wider building and construction sector of NSW and provide access to technical manuals and data relating to wall and floor tiling.
The ATC NSW/TO also conducts workshop courses and provides a consumer & Industry technical advisory service for wall & floor tiles and tiling installation within NSW.
